Australian Mathematics Competition

The AMC is a nationwide mathematics competition designed to challenge and stimulate students’ mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. We will provide a booster short term training Course. The primary aim of this course is to equip you with the necessary knowledge, techniques and most importantly proper mindset to excel in the AMC. Throughout the course, we will cover various mathematical concepts and UNIQUE problem-solving strategies commonly encountered in the competition. By the end of this course, you will have developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, enhanced your problem-solving abilities, and gained the confidence needed to excel in the AMC. Whether you aim to achieve a top score or simply want to enhance your mathematical skills, this course will provide you with the necessary tools to succeed.
PROGRAM CONTENT

Here’s an overview of what you can expect to learn in this course:

Mathematical Concepts: We will delve into fundamental mathematical topics such as algebra, geometry, number theory, and so on. You will gain a deeper understanding of these concepts and learn how to apply them to solve complex problems.

Problem-Solving Strategies: We will explore different problem-solving techniques that will help you tackle challenging mathematical questions effectively. These is not only about how to solve the problems, but also about how to set a proper mindset in the real exam.

Practice Questions: Regular practice is essential for success in the AMC. We will provide you with a wide range of practice questions similar to those encountered in the competition. This will enable you to hone your problem-solving skills and become familiar with the format and types of questions you may encounter.

Time Management: The AMC is a timed competition, and managing your time efficiently is crucial. We will guide you on how to optimize your time during the exam and share tips on prioritizing questions and allocating time for each section.

Test-Taking Strategies: In addition to mathematical skills, we will focus on strategies specific to the AMC. You will learn how to approach multiple-choice questions, eliminate incorrect options, and make educated guesses when necessary.

Mock Exams: To assess your progress and simulate the actual AMC experience, we will conduct mock exams in the end of the Course. These exams will help you gauge your performance, identify areas for improvement, and build confidence for the competition day.

FAQ

100% satisfaction policy means any student can have a trial class for any group class provided by RL Education. If the student isn’t satisfied with the trial class, then no payment will be requested; If the student is satisfied with the trial class and wants to continue, then the student needs to pay for the trial class and register for one term/half year/full year program. Please note the 100% satisfaction policy is for GROUP CLASS only.

The Pre-VCE/HSC/IB is provide for students who are in year 9-10.During this course, students will gain a solid base in Mathematics, English and Science to build on and implement in their Year 11-Year 12 learning.

All courses are available online and onsite simultaneously. Provided to students who live too far away to come to the campus, they can choose online courses.

 

Students will be allowed to join class only after payment is finalised. RL Education has the right to terminate the students’ coaching service if there is an overdued tuition fee in the student account.
